Despite the popularity of home-flipping shows on HGTV and Discovery+, the COVID-19 pandemic curbed the number of flips homes bought by investors, renovated, and sold at a profit last year.
In 2020, the number of flips fell 13.1% from the previous year, to hit its lowest point nationally since 2016, according to a recent report from real estate information firm ATTOM Data Solutions. Just over 240,000 homes were flipped last year, making up about 5.9% of all sales.

CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) - A man wanted in Cherokee County following deadly shootings at Atlanta-area massage parlors was caught and arrested in Crisp County Tuesday night, according to the Crisp County Sheriffâs Office (CCSO).

CCSO told WALB News 10 that an alert was put out by the Cherokee County Sheriffâs Office for Robert Aaron Long and that it was believed he was heading towards Crisp County.

(Reuters) - Merck & Co said on Wednesday its Chief Marketing Officer Michael Nally will leave the company, the second top executive to do so after the drugmaker announced last month its Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Frazier will step down in June.
Nally, who is also the executive vice president of the drugmaker’s Human Health division, will leave the company at the end of March to pursue other opportunities, Merck said.

A Toronto restaurant known for their cheap pizza offerings during a popular city-wide event had to apologize after running out of dough.
Mar. 14, otherwise known as Pi Day (3.14, get it?), is a big day every year for pizza chain Pi Co., but of course this first-ever virtual Pi Day came with challenges that could never be expected.
The restaurant that typically inspires lineups for its $3.14 Margherita pie deal did their best to pull off the event as usual, but some locations simply ran out of the dough they needed to keep making pizzas. One co-owner of a location even took to social media to personally apologize for the store being removed from the app without an explanation.
